The Outside Area at our Nursery in Padiham Burnley
The outside provision was completed in September 2009. It is a large expansive area and has been carefully designed to incorporate all the key areas of the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage).
It is important that the nursery can provide all the key areas in the outside area so that the children can learn and explore.
The area covers 190 square metres and has a combination of grass, decking, soft play, tarmac, astroturf (two different types), decking, woodland zone, exploration areas, mark making, water and sand features. There are also many additional features to ensure that the children enjoy the outdoors.
We are extremely confident that you will be impressed with our outside area.
